I'm swamped in work but I had an idea -- would people find something interesting in a preg drive where it's a serialized story?
For those who don't know, preg drives are where artists use social media to post their new OC and say "retweets, comments, replies, et all increase baby weight, baby number, etc" and so on. Sometimes it's financial, sometimes it isn't.
It's good for everyone since the real sickos get the lady to get super round, and the creators get the social media bump. So I was thinking like 500-1000 word updates, engagement adds to the number, and I have to think on my feet as I make a small micro story happen each chapter.
My gut says that people love a good belly no matter if it's read or observed, but my cynicism says that it's such a different thing people might not be interested. So, I'm curious about your thoughts.
Just saying, if you wanted more adventures of Philip's miracle drug...how about a cute black girl getting dumb and high and horny and getting nice and curvy?
I'm thinking I'm going to move up on the timeline for the writing advice book, I've found myself getting more questions about writing advice than ever and it'd probably be for the best if I just write it and put it out. I won't be charging much, this is largely for ameteur writers anyway.
If you guys have any general questions for me about my process, my ideas generation, what to look for, etc etc etc, hit me in the comments. I'll add them to the drafts and start poking at them.
In preparation for my next book's release I've totally restructured the prices on my most recent ebooks at Smashwords. I'll be tweaking them on other platforms soon.
Store page: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/CrashOverrid
Bimbo Clicker: $13.99 -> $10.99
Breeding Pit: Side Story - no changes
Magic and Melons: $7.99 -> $5.99
Breeding Pit - $10.99 -> $9.99
Bimbo Chip - $3.99 -> $2.99
Bimbo Lunchdate - no changes
Preggo Megabundle -- $9.99 -> $7.99
Bimbo Hex - $4.99 -> $3.99
All other prices will remain the same.
"Why are you slashing prices?"
New book coming out soon, and it is a MONSTER, so I'm laying the groundwork for being able to charge premium prices with an onramp for my fiction if you're so inclined. If you want to read a 100k story but go, "That's kind of a big investment," might I suggest to you my megabundle or Breeding Pit?
"New story?? What's it about!"
Hyperpregnancy and politics. I will say no more until it's out. But you won't have to wait long.
Twitter is fun for keeping up on art and sex workers who share pregnancy stuff but as a writer all I really do is banter with people I like. Given the other suspensions I've gone through (multiple accounts, long story) I'm not sure I'm going to remake. I might just quietly follow the artists on my private account and appreciate the work from afar. I would need to get a burner phone to remake which is...not that tempting given I don't miss it, aside from bullshitting with artists I like.
DeviantArt helps me in that way too but there's not really much of a space for writers, especially not now that the search function has been built to depress literature, doubly so now that the dashboard prioritizes deviations and not "everything."
And captions on Tumblr are fun to spread my platform and awareness but now they're just banning porn so at any point I could find my account nixed.
So I'm weighing my options for communicating with my audience and trying to spread myself out. Thinking LitErotica but there's not much of a TF/bimbofication/preggo contingency there. Plus, I would need to dump Comet and other freebies there. I'm already on HentaiFoundry but the numbers just seem okay-ish.
So, I'm mulling over my options.
Do any of you read erotica and fetish material on free sites besides DA? Any suggestions?
